Bally Creek Trails update....

Trails that are open to classic skiing are the skijouring Trail, wildlife pond loop, and rabbit run loop, Sundling Creek loop.  The USFS Rd. 158 past the cabins is groomed with a skating land & a single track to Bally Creek, approx 2k.

The Spur trail to the Superior Hiking Trail, off the public parking lot is now open thanks to Lindsay & Oscar Mielke, & Samantha Wallner.  Also thanks to  Karen Neal, Annie DeBevec and Ann Mershon for help brushing downfall  on trails.  There are still a few of the trails that are impassable because of the storm.  Moose tracks can be seen on the groomed trails. All the parking lots are plowed.

The Bally Creek loop is not open as of yet and the ski through to Cascade will not be open at all this winter unless there are some volunteers who would like to help. Also the Forest Service Road 158 is getting rather narrow so drive with caution.
