Please see www.norpinetrails.org for the most up to date trail information. The groomers have reset all tracks on DYL system including Short loop and Fire-tower runs. The Pioneer loop is also open. Ridge run is not in very good shape nor is skiing for the first 150 yards near Cascade Lodge entrance. Our snow is holding up remarkably well.

deeryard trail
Three of us skied around the loop this morning in 8 - 10" of snow. Different . . . . but fun! So until the groomer gets to it, it's open and skiable if you're not too fussy about glide and speed!
deeryard trail
2/5/10 . . . .11 a.m. Just got in from skiing . . . . The short loop is NOT groomed . . . . just a snowmobile track. The tower hill has been rolled but there is not track set. Good skiing there though! The rest of the trail is in pretty good shape 'tho a bit of debris is found here and there. Lots of fresh wolf tracks. And it was finally warm enough so the hands didn't go numb!!! Such an enjoyable loop.
