The full certification course runs from 8 a.m. to roughly 5:30 p.m. and costs $175, which includes the textbook and exam. ServSafe Food Manager Certification $175 (Certification includes a textbook-$71.00+ value) 

The renewal course runs from 8 a.m. to noon along side of the certification course and costs $75.
This class does not require a textbook.
