Join us for Board of Directors Basics with Kelly LaCore from the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. Kelly will present about board structures, roles, and responsibilities. Covered topics include officer positions, required direction & oversight, the importance of Board of Directors DEI work, and how best to use board members' talents and resources. Kelly will share about Minnesota’s nonprofit sector, the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, and additional resources. The event will conclude with a question and answer session focusing on nonprofit board membership.
