Fifth Falls Snowshoe Hike at Gooseberry Falls Wednesday

Take a hike of discover to Fifth Falls for views of ice sculptures, winter tracks and caves. Journey with Gooseberry Falls State Park naturalist on the Superior Hiking Trail within the park. This hike will cover 2 miles and involve steep hills.
Recommended to bring walking sticks or ski poles. Bring your own snowshoes or borrow a pair from the park. There are a limited number of adult snowshoes, call, send an email or stop in at the Visitor Center to reserve your snowshoes.
We do need 6 inches of snow on the ground to snowshoe, if there is a lack of snow, a winter walk will occur. Cleats are recommended for the walk.
