May 08, 2024 06:59AM ● By Content Editor
From the National Weather Service • Duluth • May 8, 2024

Morning fog is expected to lift within a couple hours of sunrise, leading to mostly cloudy skies and a 20-40% chance for showers today. After a sunny Thursday, there will be more chances for rain Friday and into this weekend.

We will have some chilly low temperatures falling into the 30s, which could lead to some frost in the Arrowhead tonight. A Frost Advisory has been issued. Even cooler temperatures are expected Thursday night.

With the seasonably warm and rainy weather over the past couple weeks, we've experienced a widespread green up across the Northland. As such, the NWS in Duluth will officially start issuing frost/freeze headlines starting today (May 7, 2024) whenever cold weather is expected.
