Learn to Stay Cool in Conflict!
Ever been in a heated situation and wished you had the skills to do something to help? Attend our training just for youth and learn how to:
- Stay calm and centered in tense situations
- Step up as an upstander instead of a bystander
- Intervene in bullying situations effectively
These skills are important for leadership development, personal growth, and can be used in situations of all types including school, home, and community. The workshop will cover: personal and situational de-escalation tools such as window of tolerance, OODA Loop, CLARA, and upstander intervention.
There is no school on April 21st due to a professional development day for teachers.
This workshop is only available for youth to participate in, but interested adults are welcome to sign up to assist and be in the space to learn from the material presented.
FREE Lunch + Stipend for Participants! Transportation support available on request.
