Threat Assessment Workshop
This training will introduce practical skills for taking a proactive approach to community safety and mutual protection.
The Threat Assessment Workshop will introduce participants to a layered framework that encourages a proactive approach to community safety and mutual protection. This training involves two practical skills for developing a threat assessment: Community Mapping and the Risk Formula. Participants will be guided through an explanation and interactive examples before creating a threat assessment unique to their own community experiences. By the end of this training, participants should feel well equipped to prepare and advocate for the unique needs of their community.

This training is part of the Rural MN Community Safety Project, a collaboration between Northspan, Cook County Public Health and Human Services, Cook County Higher Education, and Cook County MN Restorative Justice. Additional events in the Rural MN Community Safety Project:
